1. What Sungify is
Sungify creates original, personalised songs as gifts and keepsakes. Every song is produced by our studio from the story you share with us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Originality promise
- Every Sungify song is an original composition — original lyrics and original melody, created for your order.
- We do not copy, recreate, interpolate, or imitate existing songs, in any language.
- We do not imitate the voice of any real singer or artist. Requests to "make it sound like [artist]" will be interpreted as a style direction (genre, mood, era), never a voice imitation.
3. Content we will not create
We politely decline any song that contains or promotes:
- Abusive, demeaning, insulting, or humiliating content about any person, living or deceased.
- Content that hurts religious, community, caste, regional, or national sentiments.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment of any kind.
- Vulgar, obscene, or sexually explicit content.
- Content about or directed at minors beyond innocent family and celebration contexts.
- Political campaign content, candidate promotion, or party material.
- Content promoting violence, illegal activity, or harmful behaviour.
- Songs about a real, identifiable person made to mock, defame, or harm them.
If your order contains any of the above, we will contact you to adjust the brief. If it cannot be adjusted, we will cancel and refund the order in full. Sungify reserves the sole right to decline any order.
4. Songs about real people
- Songs about a real person (the usual case — it's a gift!) must be affectionate, celebratory, or respectful in nature.
- By ordering, you confirm you personally know the subject of the song, or have the consent of the person (or their family, for memorial songs) to have the song made.
- Memorial and tribute songs are welcome and handled with special care; these briefs are reviewed manually.
5. Your story and your lyrics
- The memories, names, and details you submit are used only to create your song. We don't sell or share your story.
- If you provide your own lyrics, you confirm they are your original work and do not copy any existing song or infringe anyone's rights. You accept responsibility for lyrics you provide, and lyric-writing charges do not apply.
6. Versions and revisions
- Plans include the number of song versions and revisions listed on the pricing page.
- A revision means: changing up to two lyric lines, or one adjustment to tempo or mood, on your chosen version.
- A change of music style, singer/voice type, language, or a substantially rewritten song is a new order, offered at 50% of the plan price for existing customers.
- Any factual error made by us — a wrong name, date, or detail from your brief — is corrected free of charge, on every plan, always.
7. Delivery
- Standard delivery is within 48 hours of completed order form and payment. Rush delivery (24 hours) is available as a paid add-on.
- You'll first receive preview versions to choose from. Final full-quality files are delivered after you select your version.
- Delivery timelines pause while we wait for your responses (version selection, revision notes).
8. Payment and refunds
- Payment is taken in full when you place your order. Indian customers: UPI, cards, netbanking (INR). International customers: card or PayPal (USD).
- Full refund if you cancel before production begins, or if we decline your order under Section 3.
- No refund once song versions have been delivered. A personalised song cannot be resold — this is why every plan includes multiple versions and revisions, and why we work with you until it feels right.
9. Your license: personal use
- Your song is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use — worldwide, forever.
- You may: play it anywhere, gift it, use it at family and personal events (weddings, birthdays, farewells, office celebrations), and post it on your personal social media.
- You may not: use the song in advertising or brand promotion, sell or resell it, use it in monetised content or channels, distribute it on music streaming platforms, or claim authorship of the composition.
- Office Celebration songs are licensed for internal company events only — not for marketing, recruitment videos, or any public promotional use.
- Need music for a business, ad, or monetised project? Our parent studio NYYN creates commercial music with full commercial licensing.
10. Our production rights
- Sungify retains the underlying production rights to the composition, which is what lets us license it to you.
- We may showcase completed songs (with personal details anonymised) as samples of our work. If you'd prefer your song stays fully private, tell us at order time — we'll honour it, no questions.
11. Privacy
- We collect only what the order needs: your contact details, payment confirmation, and your song brief.
- Payments are processed by our payment partners; we never see or store your card details.
- We don't sell your data. We'll only email you about your order — and occasional occasion reminders if you opt in.
